Dozens of tree on several roads in Petukangan Utara Urban Village, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta were pruned. The effort was aimed to anticipate fallen tree during extreme weather.

Head Section of Green Lane for South Jakarta Sub-dept. of City Park and Cemetery, Bambang, said mostly the pruned trees are angsana, glodogan, trembesi, and mahogany.
“There are 18 trees pruned on Jalan Petukangan Utara, Jalan AMD V, and Jalan Mukhtar Raya,” he said, Thursday (2/1).

“Our target is to complete the effort in three-four days ahead,” he closed.
